ACTA ist ein Begriff, der seit den letzten Tagen im Internet herumschwirrt, meist im Zusammenhang mit Empörung und Klageliedern. Doch was ist dieses ACTA, was bewirkt es, wie funktioniert es?

Im Folgenden verzichte ich darauf, ausführlich das zu erklären, was ein Video von Anonymous sehr gut beschreibt und zusammenfasst. Ich kann nur sagen: Liebe User, schaut es euch an. Es lohnt sich. Es geht hier um ein Gesetz, das Gift für den globalen Datenaustausch und das Internet, wie wir es heute kennen, ist.

Die EU-Kommission hat einen Plan für ACTA, wenn das EU-Parlament es ablehnt:
the Commission will nonetheless continue to pursue the current procedure before the Court, as we are entitled to do. A negative vote will not stop the proceedings before the Court of Justice.​
Und wenn das Gericht entscheidet, dass ACTA nicht kompatibel ist? Dann ...
If the Court questions the conformity of the agreement with the Treaties we will assess at that stage how this can be addressed.




Für den Fall einer Ablehnung durch das EU-Parlament, dass man nach den Erklärungen die selbe Gülle einfach nochmal einreicht.
Second, once we will have identified and discussed these possible clarifications, I would intend to make a second request for consent to the European Parliament. Whether the Parliament will consider it under this legislature or the subsequent one, will be for you to decide.​
Man lässt also so lange drüber abstimmen, bis ihr es durch geht.
