Aspire 5930G Bios Reset mit wincrisis

Hi,

ich habe leider mein BIOS Passwort meines alten Laps vergessen und möchte das Bios daher nun zurücksetzen.

Dazu habe ich eine Anleitung gefunden, siehe unten. Dafür nutzt man das Programm Wincrisis und muss dafür unter anderem ein bootbares USB Medium erstellen. Nachdem man das Medium erstellt hat, soll man eine BIOS Datei auf den Stick kopieren und dann das Programm im Laptop starten. Leider habe ich die dafür benötigte BIOS Datei nicht, kann mir jemand helfen, wo ich diese her bekomme?
Ich habe schon auf der Herstellerseite das BIOS runtergeladen, da finde ich aber solch eine geforderte *.fd Datei nicht drin.

A. BIOS Recovery by using Crisis Disk

Follow the steps below:

1. Plug in the USB disk.
2. Launch the wincris.exe program to create a USB Crisis Disk. Click Start to initiate the process.
3. Select the Quick Format option to format the disk and click Start. Follow the instructions on the screen to create the disk.
4. Copy the KAV60.fd BIOS file into USB flash disk root directory. NOTE: Do not place any other *.fd file in the USB flash disk root directory.

To use the Crisis USB key, do the following:

1. Plug USB storage into USB port.
2. Press Fn + ESC button then plug in AC power. The Power button flashes orange once.
3. Press Power button to initiate system CRISIS mode.

BIOS Recovery Hotkey:


The model provides a function hotkey: Fn+Esc, for enable BIOS Recovery process when system is powered on during BIOS POST. To use this function, it is strongly recommended to have the coexistence of AC and Battery powers. If this function is enabled, the system will force the BIOS to enter a special BIOS block, called Boot Block.


The Steps for BIOS Recovery by Crisis Disk:


Before doing this, one Crisis Disk should be prepared ready in hand. The Crisis Disk could be made by executing the Crisis Disk program in another system with Windows XP OS.
Follow below steps:
1. Power Off system.
2. Insert the Crisis Disk to a USB floppy drive which is attached to the BIOS flash failed machine.
3. In the power-off state, press Fn+Esc and hold them. Then press Power Button. The system should be powered on with Crisis BIOS Recovery process.
4. BIOS Boot Block starts to restore the BIOS code from the Crisis floppy disk to BIOS ROM on the failed machine.
5. If the Crisis flashing process is finished, the system will restart.
If the Crisis Recovery process is finished, the system should be powered on with successful and workable BIOS. Then a person can update the latest version BIOS for this machine by regular BIOS flashing process.

Hallo,
bei diesem Modell gibt es einen Reset-Kontakt, siehe auch hier beschrieben. Ist zwar in englisch, aber Du kannst ggf. einen Übersetzer nutzen.

Hi,

vielen Dank für eure Hilfe und für den Tipp. Ja da kommen Zahlen und ich habe ein Universalpasswort nach der Zahleneingabe gefunden, um ins BIOS zu kommen. Vielen lieben Dank für den Hinweis. Hat sich somit also erledigt .
